The Championships have officially begun – and the action on social media was just as entertaining as what was happening on court…

Rising Russian star Daniil Medvedev made a dream Wimbledon debut – upsetting No.5 seed Stan Wawrinka for his first ever top 10 victory on the sport’s most famous court. He became the talk of Twitter too:
