Julia Goerges fired a barrage of winners to belt American young gun CiCi Bellis off the court in Mallorca.
In a semifinal lasting just 59 minutes, the German was a study in controlled aggression and clean hitting, winning 6-1 6-1.
In the final Goerges will meet Anastasija Sevastova, who reached the title match for the second year running.
She got there after gaining revenge on Caroline Garcia, who beat her in last year’s Mallorca final.
