Tommy Haas will continue his farewell tour at Wimbledon after the All England Club announced on Wednesday it would be awarding the German veteran a main draw wildcard.
Haas, aged 39 and a former world No.2, reached the Wimbledon semifinals back in 2009 and has shown form on grass this year, last week beating Roger Federer en route to the last eight of the Mercedes Cup in Stuttgart.

He will be joined by fellow wildcards Denis Shapovalov – at the opposite end of the age spectrum at just 18 – and British players Brydan Klein, Cameron Norrie and James Ward.
Former world No.31 Zarina Diyas, who in 2014 and 2015 advanced to the second week at Wimbledon, was awarded a women’s main-draw wildcard.
Other recipients are Brits Heather Watson, Laura Robson, Naomi Broady and Katie Boulter.
The All England Club said it would announce the remaining wildcard recipients later in the week.
