There are a few pre-requisites for anyone wanting to be a journalist at a tennis tournament (or any sporting event, for that matter):
1. Always make sure you know roughly what is happening.
2. If you’re planning on asking questions in a press conference know the result of the player(s) you are talking to.
3. If you don’t know the result just keep quiet.
4. If you start asking questions and the player doesn’t look happy then make sure you have a Plan B.
5. Display some basic common sense and abort when necessary.
