Rain completely washed out play on Day 5 of the Olympic Tennis Event in Rio.

Not a ball was hit on Wednesday at the Rio Olympic Tennis Event as persistent rain wreaked havoc with the schedule.

The schedule was progressively cancelled as the day unfolded; all day matches were suspended before the final decision to abandon all play – including the night matches – was made just after 7pm local time.
