Naomi Osaka called for help – and Daria Kasatkina responded.

Last week, the Japanese star shared on social media her pitiful attempt at a ‘tweener’ – she barely connected with the ball and almost tripped over in the process.

Daria Kasatkina is an expert at the shot, as evidenced by this stunner she pulled off against Roberta Vinci in Toronto last year.

So, the young Russian gave her fellow rising star some tips on how to master the stroke.

Osaka is no natural, that’s for sure. But in a short space of time, she markedly improved her ability to hit one of the game’s most exciting shots.
