Roger Federer has been named the fans’ favourite player for a 15th straight year.
Perhaps more impressively, he was voted by his peers as both the Comeback Player of the Year and the winner of the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award.
Federer began season 2017 as the world No.17 after missing the second half of the previous year following Wimbledon to rehabilitate chronic injuries.

He rebounded in style, capturing the Australian Open and Wimbledon titles among seven trophies in a banner year that saw him vault to world No.2.
The Swiss won his seventh straight player-voted sportsmanship award – and 13th overall.
Other award winners included:
Bob & Mike Bryan – Fans’ Favourite doubles team of the year
Denis Shapovalov – Most Improved Player of the Year
Horia Tecau – Arthur Ashe Humanitarian of the Year
Neville Godwin – Coach of the Year

Tecau won the award for his work in improving children’s rights and education in his native Romania, while 18-year-old Shapovalov was one of the most exciting players of the year, using his swashbuckling left-handed style to upset Rafael Nadal en route to the Canadian Masters semifinals in Toronto.
He improved his ranking by 200 places in the past 12 months, peaking at world No.49 in October.
Godwin until very recently was the coach of Kevin Anderson, who emerged following an injury-plagued period to reach this year’s US Open final, his first time in a major final.
