Sloane Stephens has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss her US Open victory and all that’s come with it.
It’s her latest outing on the US talk-show circuit following her career-best performance, after also appearing on Live with Kelly and Ryan and Good Morning America.
With Kimmel, she chats about how it felt to play and beat a good friend in Madison Keys in the final, her Sports Illustrated cover, her trophy mishap and her plans for the rest of the season.

“You get something else, which is a bummer, because I thought I was taking that home,” she said when Kimmel asked if the now-dented trophy was hers, or if she received a replica.
“I don’t know (when I get it). I have no idea (how I get it). I don’t even know where they’re sending it to. Like, where does it go?”
Stephens will head to Asia next week to continue her season, which will resume at the Korea Open in Seoul.
