Hot shots! Dimitrov’s dive, Kyrgios’ flick

Published by Bastien Thorne

They are two of the most entertaining players in tennis, so it’s no surprise that Grigor Dimitrov and Nick Kyrgios dominate the hot shots from Friday at Cincinnati. Needless to say, it is Dimitrov’s that will take the plaudits. The Bulgarian, on his way to a comfortable win over Yuichi Sugita, proved that every point counts as he flung himself across the court to win this impressive point.

Kyrgios, meanwhile, showed off his impressive hands not once, but twice during his match against Ivo Karlovic. The Aussie, who booked a quarterfinal match against Rafael Nadal, flicked this forehand past the rangy Corat (before busting out some moves):

He then simply hammered another big forehand past Karlovic later in the match (and high-fived the crowd after doing so):

And finally, can someone who actually watches tennis please start choosing the WTA shot of the day? Or was this really the best shot of a busy day?
