Hot shot: Haase invents winner in Halle

Richard Gasquet may have won their match in three sets. But Robin Haase stole the show with an improvised forehand flick that had both men smiling and even Gasquet giving a thumbs-up.

Early in their Gerry Weber Open quarterfinal in Halle, Gasquet and Haase engaged in a lengthy rally that Haase concluded with a little piece of magic.

Gasquet, however, ultimately ran out a 6-1 3-6 6-1 winner and will next face either Alexander Zverev or Roberto Bautista Agut for a place in the final of the grasscourt event.
