Former world No.12 Sabine Lisicki will make her return to the WTA Tour next month.

The 27-year-old German has not competed since November, sidelined with a shoulder injury.

She has teased fans of her rehab progress in recent weeks, regularly posting photos and videos of herself training in Miami, and has now uploaded a video announcing she will make her return at the Mallorca Open in June.

The Mallorca Open is a WTA International-level grass tournament held in Spain from June 19 to 25.

It has attracted a strong field including Wimbledon 2014 finalist Genie Bouchard, former world No.1 Jelena Jankovic and defending champion Caroline Garcia. Former world No.1 and new mother Victoria Azarenka will also make her highly-anticipated return at the tournament.

Lisicki has an outstanding record on grass, boasting a 27-8 win-loss career record at Wimbledon. A five-time quarterfinalist at the All England Club, her best result was a runner-up finish in 2013.

Currently ranked No.133, Lisicki has used an injury protected ranking of No.92 to also enter Wimbledon. It is a tournament where she has recorded seven of her 13 career top 10 wins and boasts victories over Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Agnieszka Radwanska and Caroline Wozniacki.
