Shots of the day: Crashing and cruising in Madrid (12/05)

It was a tale of vastly differing fortunes in Madrid, with Andy Murray crashing out of the tournament, but Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic easing into the quarterfinals. On the women’s side, Simona Halep goes from strength to strength, and Svetlana Kuznetsova is finally delivering on her promise in 2017. These are the shots of the day.
