It’s fair to say that world No.1 Andy Murray has been having a torrid time of things lately. The Brit, who suffered first from a bout of shingles and then from an elbow injury, has been struggling with form and fitness from the start of the season. With that in mind (and with so many points to defend) it’s no surprise that that Murray has taken a wildcard into this week’s ATP 500 in Barcelona, where he’s seeking some much-needed match practice.
