Brit Johanna Konta is into the biggest final of her career, booking a spot in the Miami Open championship match with a straight-sets win over American veteran Venus Williams.
Konta, the No.10 seed, needed two hours and three minutes to battle past 36-year-old Williams 6-4 7-5.
“To get the chance to play Venus again and share the court with her, I always enjoy it,” Konta said on BT Sport 1.
“She is such a world class act so I feel very privileged to have had a battle against her.
“There wasn’t much in it so for me to come through that leaves me feeling very happy and maybe a bit lucky.”

The result improves Konta’s win-loss record for the season to 18-3 and guarantees a return to the world’s top 10 when next week’s rankings are released. Winning the title would propel her to a new career-high of No.7.
The 25-year-old Konta, who has two career titles, next meets Dane Caroline Wozniacki in the final.
Wozniacki, who defeated in-form Czech Karolina Pliskova in three sets earlier today, is aiming to win her biggest title in more than six years.
