It’s not like Nick Kyrgios to find himself in the middle of a Twitter squabble. But that’s exactly what happened when he passed comment on this incident in the match between Gastao Elias and Horacio Zeballos.

Elias slammed a ball into the crowd, causing umpire Carlos Bernardes to remind him of the time when Denis Shapovalov accidentally hit an umpire in the eye during a fit of pique.

After seeing the incident, Nick Kyrgios responded with the tweet:

Elias, who lost the match 6-7(2) 6-2 7-5, seemed to take umbrage at Kyrgios’ intervention, urging the Aussie to mind his own business:
