Roger Federer v Nick Kyrgios at Indian Wells will not be realised after Kyrgios pulled out of the BNP Paribas Open on Friday morning due to suspected food poisoning.

Nick Kyrgios is out of the BNP Paribas Open, withdrawing from the tournament on Friday morning due to illness.

It is suspected to be food poisoning.

The news came just a few hours before Kyrgios was to take to the court for his blockbuster quarterfinal against Roger Federer.

As a result, Federer moves through to the semifinals where he will face either Jack Sock or Kei Nishikori.

The Stadium 1 crowd were then treated to an exhibition set between Vasek Pospisil – who upset No.1 seed Andy Murray earlier in the tournament – and tournament director Tommy Haas.
