What are the greatest shots ever hit on the tennis court? We count down the five best.

Sometimes we like to link our Friday 5s to one momentous occasion, other times we like to do something far more random. Today is a random day. The kind of day when we woke up and wondered: ‘what are the best shots ever hit on a tennis court?’ Well, we can’t guarantee they are the best ever ever, but they surely are since the invention of YouTube (and that’s basically as far back as life goes):

Rafa Nadal hits a ridiculous tweener. There are no words to describe how good this shot is:

Aga Radwanska has the reactions of a cat. This is, without a doubt, the best WTA Hot Shot you have ever seen:

Andy Murray’s outrageous winner. Enjoy this in real time, but make sure you watch the replay:

Grigor Dimitrov goes behind the back. There are no words for how good this is:

Roger Federer’s best ever passing shot. Sounds like hyperbole? It isn’t:

Want one more? Oh, go on then. Just because these shots are so darn good, we’re going for a Friday 5+1. Remember when Nick Kyrgios did this?
