Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams head the seedings lists for the men’s and women’s singles at this year’s Wimbledon championships.
The defending champions top lists that depart little from the international rankings, save for a few alterations to the men’s seeds.
Using a special formula rewarding strong grasscourt results in the past two years, the All England Club has seeded players including Richard Gasquet, Marin Cilic, Nick Kyrgios, Gilles Simon, Kevin Anderson and Ivo Karlovic higher than their world ranking.
