Recently retired US Open champion Flavia Pennetta was honoured with a special on-court ceremony as the WTA Tour stopped in Rome. The four-time Fed Cup champion and first Italian woman to achieve a top 10 ranking was recognised by her peers, many who joined her on court, in the emotional presentation.
