Caroline Wozniacki has linked up with David Kotyza, former coach of two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova.

Tennis.com reported that Wozniacki and Kotyza have begun working together in Monte Carlo after being connected by Wozniacki’s father and current coach, Piotr.

“I accepted the offer of Piotr,” Kotyza was reported as telling Czech media.”She wants to get back to the top. I want to help her.”

Wozniacki is currently ranked 24th but has been as high as No.1. She has worked with several coaches.

Kotyza coached Kvitova for seven years – one of the more enduring and successful partnerships in professional tennis – before the duo parted ways in earl 2016.
