What do Serena and Maria going to the Oscars, Sabine Lisicki running up stairs and Caroline getting spotty have in common? This.

Fancy frocks, flights of stairs and a former World No.1 pretending to be a leopard. Yes, the world of pro tennis social media can be a bamboozling one at times… times like this:

Serena got glammed up for the Oscars:

Honestly loved my dress by @galialahav ????(yes it has pockets!!?) my insane bracelet by @xivkarats ?

So did Maria:

But not before she got snapped at the gym:

Venus Williams proved that dancing runs in the family:

Alexandr Dolgopolov has launched a new project (which could be a hotel room, a man, or something else):

Alize Cornet is looking forward to getting back on the court:

Juan Monaco has been hanging out with Diego Schwartzmann off the tennis court:

Milos Raonic has withdrawn from the Davis Cup:

I am deeply saddened to not be able to join my team for the Davis Cup tie in Guadeloupe, against the French team. Davis Cup has always and will continue to be a priority in my schedule. My body at this moment does not allow me to compete. The muscular tear I sustained in the Australian Open semifinals, still proves to be an issue, one that has not completely healed. I have missed tournaments already this month and now I will miss Davis Cup. It is not easy for me, as I love representing Canada, and competing along side a great team of players and staff. I will continue to rehab and try to be back on tour as soon as possible, remaining hopeful for the tournament in Indian Wells, California. I wish the Davis Cup team a great and prosperous weekend. Go Canada go! #TeamCanada #TeamMilos

Genie Bouchard has been philosophising:

Sabine Lisicki has been running up stairs:

Vika Azarenka had a pizza bake-off with her crew:

And, finally, Caroline Wozniacki had a bad case of spots:
