Federer explains his injury with emoticons

One of these knees gave way and Federer has fixed it
Roger Federer has explained what happened with his injury through the power of emiticons.

A wise woman (or man – who knows?) once said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, Roger Federer apparently agrees after posting a detailed visual representation / timeline of exactly what happened to his knee, what he’s done about it and how he’s feeling in the aftermath. Of course, there was no need for a fine art kit, in the age of social media, he did all of that through the power of emoticons.

As we reported yesterday, Federer suffered a torn meniscus on Friday that required surgery. As a result he’ll miss Rotterdam and Dubai, and is targeting a return at Indian Wells.
