Serena takes to Instagram

Serena Williams has used her Instagram account to admonish Ilie Nastase for his recent comments as well as thanking her unborn baby.

Serena Williams posted a message on her Instagram account on Monday in response to Ilie Nastase’s racist comments about her and her unborn child.

Nastase, the Romanian Fed Cup captain, made the comments during a tie press conference – in addition to many other offensive remarks directed toward the British opposition – and is now being investigated by the ITF.

Williams was appalled, and wrote the following:

Yet in an earlier Instagram post, Williams covered a happier topic.

The subject was her unborn baby, whom she wrote to while posting a picture of herself on holiday while cradling her baby bump.
