Borna Coric outlasted second seed Albert Ramos Vinolas to set up a semifinal against Jiri Vesely at the Grand Prix Hassan II in Marrakech. In his first final four showing at the same time last year, the 20-year-old Croat will meet Jiri Vesely, who also required three sets to overcome the higher-ranked Paolo Lorenzi.

In Bogota, former French Open champion Francesa Schiavone continued her return to form by defeating third seed Johanna Larsson to set up a final against Lara Arruabarrena.
