Maria Sharapova will make her comeback from a doping suspension in at the Porsche Grand Prix, Stuttgart on 26 April.
The Russian star was initially given a two-year ban after testing positive for meldonium. However, that was reduced to 15-months in October after Sharapova appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Sharapova has been handed a wildcard to Stuttgart. However, the tournament starts two days before her first match and she will not be permitted to enter the tournament site until her doping ban is lifted.
Sharapova shared the announcement multiple times on Twitter.
